Empowering Education, Creativity, and Freedom: Welcome to My Journey

Welcome to My World: Empowering Education, Creativity, and Freedom!

Hi there! I’m Jared, and I’m here to share my journey with you—a journey rooted in a deep passion for education, creativity, and the pursuit of self-development.

I recently drew a line in the sand and decided to stop chasing any one goal. Instead, I’ve started chasing all of them. That’s right—I’m going to achieve everything I’ve ever wanted, and I’ve got big dreams baby so it’s a good thing I’m not afraid of hard work!

I’ll skip the backstory and tell you where I’m at now. I just quit my job with three months of savings, decided to follow a few successful real estate influencers on social media, and started my own business. I don’t have much passion for real estate, but it’s the fastest way I know to generate passive income that will empower me to focus on my real fight—education reform.

This post isn’t about education reform; it’s about me. I want to make a difference! (And for all the math nerds like me, “difference” might make you think of subtraction—but that’s a rabbit hole for another day.)

I’m excited to teach using my special math dice, my creative note-taking system, and my overarching Universal Problem-Solving (UPS) system, along with my Three Laws of Creativity. I’ve got a ton of impostor syndrome, but honestly, I don’t care anymore. I just need the free time to do it—and a few bucks to foot the bill, hence the real estate.

I’m also a musician—an accomplished composer, in my own mind, at least. But yes, I might post a song, poem, or something artistic at some point.

Look, like everyone else around here (here = Earth), I’m a multifaceted and complex individual with unique talents, gifts, and dreams! So, I’m going to write about them here.

I don’t currently have a way to subscribe, but if I get a little readership going, maybe I’ll set that up. Feel free to connect with me! I’m happy to meet you and welcome you to my world. Thanks for being a part of my journey!

OS Cubes: math dice with plus, minus, multiply, divide, equals, and does-not-equal, in a specific orientation of corresponding counterpart opposites

Unlocking the Relationship with My Higher Self

I just had a little epiphany about my cubes. I haven’t introduced them here yet, but my cubes are a special set of math dice I created called OS Cubes—short for Operating System Cubes. They’re my invention for mapping our actions and choices we make in everyday life. They’re a powerful tool for anyone trying to self-correct and are a core part of my education revolution ambition. I have a few different uses for them, mainly centered around gaming and play as a way to develop mental models for divergent thinking.

Anyway, I’m constantly struggling with how to use my own cubes! I’ve created something super unique that’s both a tool and a toy—but it’s something that’s so unbelievably creative and useful that even I am still discovering new ways to use it! And today, my epiphany was about the relationship with self. Let me explain.

My math dice carry a specific configuration of the primary symbols of basic arithmetic: plus, minus, multiply, divide, equals, and does-not-equal. For the OS Cube nomenclature, I’ve reassigned these symbols categorically to steps, leaps, and balance. And, for the past several years I’ve thought of these steps and leaps as positions and moves within a relationship between two people—as a simple aid for people learning skills on how to work together with others.

Now, I realize that this might not make much sense, if you’re unfamiliar with my cubes. I’ll get a tutorial together asap.

So here’s today’s big AHA!—I have a relationship with myself! Sounds obvious, but follow me here. Ever heard of internal conflict? When someone is experiencing internal conflict, who exactly are they in conflict with? The cubes as we play them empower to resolve conflicts within self. Even as I write this, it feels wild to say that my invention is a toy that addresses the human condition—but that’s exactly what it does.

In the future, I’ll host workshops for how to use OS Cubes, both in person and online. If you're interested, join my Facebook group to connect!

I don’t know how to build a fully featured website yet, and Facebook is easy—so for now, let’s connect there.
